As Paul writes, he makes his relationship with God personal. As you look at these texts- see what it says about me and Jesus. God & Jesus love us. Jesus’ love for me can’t be described in words or songs completely. Exodus – It would have been unjust for Jesus to be forced to die on the cross. He willingly died in my place as willing substitute. You’ll never question if he suffered enough if you’re saved. He died so that everyone could be saved. God knows us in the masses of people. God doesn’t loose sight of an individual. The Bible tells us he calls each of us by our name. John 10:3, 11- He loved each one and called them by their name. Jesus was crucified and he arose. He told Mary to get his disciples and Peter. My sheep hear my voice. Even though Peter denied Jesus three times. He told him he was going to do so. He wanted Peter to know he still asked for him, that he still loves him. Grace. In the Song of Solomon – My Beloved is mine and I am his. This is talking about his love for me and I to him. As I close – can you say – he loves me? he gave himself for me!
